Who We Are

Who We Are

Fellowship Baptist is a Gospel-Centered church that was created, well, around the idea of fellowship. In the New Testament, the word used for fellowship is the Greek word Koinonia (koy·now·nee·uh). Koinonia, at its simplest, is a partnership of people who are unified in purpose. The New Testament describes a believer's relationship with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as this koinonia, fellowship (1 Corinthians 1:9; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 1:3). It is this unity and fellowship with God, through the Gospel, that then brings forth our unity with others.

It is this fellowship with God and Unity with believers that drives us on our mission that all people would Know, Grow, and Go.

  • Know God – Have a personal relationship with Him through His son, Jesus Christ.
  • Grow in your Relationship – Increasing in both the knowledge of who God is, and their affection for the Word and Will of God.
  • Go Proclaim Christ to the Nations – Taking the message of the Gospel and sharing it with neighbors, friends, family, and strangers so that all might have the opportunity to find salvation in Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I go?

Fellowship Baptist has two buildings: The Sanctuary and the Family Life Center (FLC). The Sanctuary building at the front of the property hosts our primary worship service upstairs and includes the nursery, mothers' room, and classrooms downstairs. The FLC contains our gym, office, kitchen, youth room, and additional classrooms.

What should I wear?

At Fellowship Baptist, there is no dress code. We welcome all people to come as themselves and wear whatever is they wish to worship in. Most Sundays, it is not unusual to see a wide range of dress from shorts to dresses to sports coats.

What will the songs be like?

We sing a mix of old and new hymns and songs, all with a commitment to biblical faithfulness, theological richness, and congregational participation. Above all styles or genres, we simply love to join our voices and proclaim God’s glory together in song.

What about my baby or toddler?

During both Sunday School at 9 AM and Service at 10 AM, we have a staffed nursery located in the downstairs of the Sanctuary building. There is also a mother's room located directly across from the nursery with comfy chairs, a changing area, and a monitor to view service from there.

Got anything for my Kids?

Absolutely! Kids are a vital part of Fellowship Baptist! We have Sunday School Classes for them every week at 9 AM, and during the service, they can attend Children’s Church. Children’s Church is for kids 4th

grade and below, and will be dismissed from service right after the Children’s Sermon. There are 2 classes: a Pre-K through K class and a 1st through 4th grade class.

What if my Kids want to stay in service?

Then let them! We are a church built around families, and we love to see them together in the worship service. We also offer a Kid’s worship kit located in the back of the Sanctuary to help kids engage with the service!
